Research Interests: I am interested in understanding the molecular mechanisms behind the pathology of diseases, and ways to recover lost functions. In particular, I am interested in the role of nerves in wound healing and regeneration, and molecular mechanisms that may regulate activation of cell types involved in wound healing (e.g. fibroblasts)

Research Interests: I am interested in utilizing a variety of imaging techniques to study the process of gecko tail regeneration, focusing on neural regeneration, that can be applied to other mammalian systems
